About

My Journey.
I’m a creative problem-solver who believes collaboration, curiosity, and connection are the keys to impactful design and campaigns. My path started 5 years ago in PR, communications, and marketing, and I found myself drawn to UX/UI design as a way to merge storytelling with building intuitive, human-centered experiences.
At Texas State University, I studied Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration, and earned my postgraduate degree in UX Design | UI/UX for Data-Driven Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Along the way, I dove deeper into design through the Ultimate Figma Masterclass 2.0 with Designership and added certifications in Generative AI, ChatGPT, HTML, and CSS. Additionally, I have received certificates in IAP2 Fundamentals of Public Participation and IAP2 Designing and Leading in Public Participation.
What I've Been Up To.
Today, I run my own freelance studio, Pederzani Designs. I get to work on projects spanning web design, brand strategy, marketing, and UX research & design, which lets me combine everything I love: empathy, problem-solving, and creativity.
My projects and clientele have ranged from hospitality, government, film, and entertainment industries. In addition to my UX design work, I have managed cross-functional teams, executed large-scale events and workshops, and managed stakeholder engagement and projects across various areas. With the world of technology moving ever so rapidly, my goal is to translate complex digital or educational experiences into digestible and intuitive processes for human interaction. Whether I am leading a team, managing projects or events, developing marketing strategies, or designing, I am always leading with a human-first mindset, while integrating AI systems to expedite workflows. To execute a successful project, I always implement the innovation framework of Design Thinking.

Outside of Design.
Outside of work, I produce and DJ electronic music, travel often, and spend time with my dog and family. I also enjoy building websites on the side for friends and family. This helps me to stay creative and support the people I care about.
Creativity and connection are very important to me, in my work life and personal life. I have always believed that using your free time outside of the workplace to continue to grow and learn is one of the most valuable things someone can do. To continuously work these muscles, I am exploring a new educational podcast, traveling to new places and learning the culture and history, finding new courses to take, or simply meeting with other creatives and brainstorming new ideas.
Looking Ahead.
I’m excited to bring my skills into a new role where I can keep learning, collaborate with great teams, and contribute as both a designer and a leader. I am a dedicated worker whose goal is to help companies reach their business goals, integrate AI systems into the ever-evolving tech field, and design experiences that truly serve people. I believe my colleagues would say that my strongest quality is passion. passion for every piece of work that I developed, passion for building strong teams, passion for presenting strong and successful projects, and passion for human-centered experiences.
